Job Summary

Qualified candidates are being considered for openings within the Professional Services group at FICO, Bangalore. These candidates will possess a strong background in enterprise application integration with a strong focus on BRMS solution development.

The candidate is expected to handle large-scale consulting projects and should possess skills in the design, development, integration, and deployment of Business Rules Management System (BRMS) applications using FICO Blaze Advisor.

Candidates must be available for travel (20% or more) and possess the REQUIRED SKILLS listed below.

The position will be based out of FICO office located in Bangalore, India.

Job Description

Role/responsibilities: Consultant primary skill involves BRMS application design & development using the FICO Blaze Advisor. Consultant in FICO is expected to work on large-scale consulting projects that will include a variety of business areas such as Banking, Finance, Insurance, Fraud detections and Health care.

Consultant located at Global Delivery Center, Bangalore works on projects that may vary from a long-term, multi-month project to a short-term, few weeks project. While the job is challenging, it provides ample opportunity to work with a variety of technologies in a short span of time. One needs to be highly adaptive and motivated to learn new technologies and possess good problem solving skills.

Consultant interacts with FICO regional consultants and customers located in other regions on a constant basis. Hence, it is necessary that the Consultant have extremely good communication skills. Based on the type of engagement he/she may be expected to travel to client sites for short or long term.

Experience Requirements:

5 – 8 Years’ experience in the following:

• Strong analytic skills and an appetite for quick learning.
• Good orientation towards quality, processes and SDLC, Agile methodologies
• Experience in producing detailed documentation from the requirement, design phase through to release.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Software/Engineering or MCA
• Excellent communication skills. Worked 5+ years in a customer facing position.
• Experience in the Financial, Banking, Insurance or Healthcare Industry is preferred. Decision analysis skill is desired.
• Technical Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience with FICO Blaze Advisor 7.x and above with strong working experience in designing, developing & testing of Business rules, templates, Decision tree, Tables, Score cards & Decision Testing
  • Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies
  • Good experience in database technologies
  • Experience on rule service and RMA deployment using JEE containers like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat etc.
  • Understanding of cloud based development and deployment
  • Knowledge of integration technologies is desirable.
