  • About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant...

In this role, you will:

  • Enable the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Risk Strategy, Planning & Governance (SP&G) group working on the team responsible for Business Operations.

  • Work with the SP&G team to understand their vision and business objectives, and then synthesize that information into CEO/Board-ready executive presentations to "cast the vision" for the future of the group.

  • Build executive-level presentations on an ad-hoc basis for the SP&G Team to use with executives and the CIB Risk organization to provide relevant business updates.

  • Engage with SP&G and other teams across the CIB Risk organization to help solve complex business problems, gathering substantial amounts of information and synthesizing into simple, easy to understand executive level recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in, Finance, Economics or Management Consulting

  • 10+ years’ experience in business communications, consulting

  • Expert proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel, with experience in data visualization

  • Experience preparing Senior Executive/Board of Directors/CEO-level presentations.

  • Experience presenting to senior management, and the ability to articulate key messages around impacts to business objectives in a straightforward and understandable manner.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills in showcasing and discussing designs, including demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with designers and technical SP&G partners.

  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, communicate effectively and persuasively to convey design solutions to a broad range of stakeholders: product managers, engineers, customers, etc.

Job Expectations:

  • Engage with SP&G and other teams across the CIB Risk organization to help solve complex business problems, gathering substantial amounts of information and synthesizing into simple, easy to understand executive level recommendations.

  • Expertise into preparing financial budgeting and forecasting.

  • Lead expense reduction initiatives and perform end-to-end execution with the team or independently.

  • Preparation of executive level materials and presentation, including Monthly and Quarterly Business Review support

  • Perform Headcount and resource management and reporting

  • Implementing efficiencies across the team through streamlining processes and automation

  • Develop comprehensive monitoring frameworks and dashboards and provide statistically sound diagnostic evaluation of any emerging or unexpected risk areas to enhance intelligence and facilitate faster decision making.

  • Developing key risks, financial and control dashboard leveraging using visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel VBA, Tableau and/or SAS Visual Analytics.

  • Expert Knowledge on data sourcing and manipulation

  • Design and maintain data flows, process flows and other relevant governance documentation for compliance with CIB Risk Governance risk framework.

  • Perform, coordinate, and document independent cross-functional risk assessments, aggregate risk assessments, evaluate effectiveness of internal controls, and review and credibly challenge frontline control enhancements.

  • Lead the evaluation of cross-program and cross-group analytics to identify opportunities and best practices to influence stronger risk management practices by the business.

  • Good understanding of banking and financial industry terms understanding i.e. Credit risk, market risk, General Ledger, P&L, Expense management, direct and indirect expenses, etc.
