Job content

Basic simulation and design software knowledge for product designing and validation such as AutoCAD / Matlab /Solid Works is required
Should have good exposure to layout designing, drawings and schematics
Component selection including the cells and the BMS and supplier onboarding
BMS Configuration and interfacing
Pack reliability test such as load test, safety test and abuse test
Working with the prototype and iterating until the final design and performance requirements are met
Electrical Integration of Battery Packs with charger and vehicle level
Inhouse product testing as per the industrial standards
External third party product validation
Trouble shooting and root cause analysis
Lead the battery pack team and work with the powertrain team for integration of the battery pack into the electric vehicle.
Good knowledge of Homologation, EMI/EMC requirements & tests involved at test agencies like ARAI, iCAT, VRDE, etc.
Knowledge of DFMEA & DVP testing for electrical related components based on AIS/IS /Field issues, etc.
Knowledge of Design calculations for electrical loads on vehicle for all features provided.
Knowledge of Design calculations for Battery specs for given vehicle specs.
Collaboration with Suppliers & ensuring closure of activities & design requirements.
