Job Details/ Criteria

Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility:

The Marketing and Engagement Lead will a) develop, guide, and manage communities by interfacing with Indian Tech companies and employees, and driving conversations about technology and NASSCOM initiatives. b) Drive content, interactions, engagement and research insights from NASSCOM and non-NASSCOM members across multiple digital media channels and forums. c) Support with community product development.


  • Responsible for driving content and membership on the NASSCOM Community platform.
  • Maintain community member engagement and participation across platforms- forums and events, and social media channels.
  • Identify interesting and sharable content from huge pool of content/stories, create content articles, newsletters, blogs, mailers & other material for social media channels and collaboration initiatives.
  • Analyze trends in Social Media channels, conceptualize interesting social media campaigns, manage NASSCOM Research handles and help structure social media strategy.
  • Lead day to day operations, database management, and user account management to provide tracking and metrics to supplement community growth charter.
  • Drive Community platform technology development with partners by monitoring latest trends and competitor analysis.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in a Marketing or Communications-related field.
  • 3-4 years of work experience in community building, content management and marketing, PR, and social media marketing.
  • Specific experience identifying and utilizing appropriate content streams: transcripts, articles, surveys, web seminars, podcasts, wikis, blogs, etc.
  • Functional knowledge and/or personal experience with Drupal and API Integrations.
  • Ownership driven entrepreneurial nature, target oriented work style, strong inter-personal skills, excellent communicator and a creative thinker with an ability to use both data and intuition for informed decisions.
