Eligibility :

  • Graduate in Arts / Science Discipline
  • Good knowledge in Physics of motion, Rigging workflows in Blender and Maya
  • Must have Knowledge in Animation
  • Good knowledge in blendshapes, cbs and facial rig setup
  • Collab with Artists and Engineers
  • Drawing
  • Before starting the RIG. Able to read script and understand the story. Based on story requirement and importance of that asset able to research, plan to approach the rigging setup.
  • Able study and Should understand living creatures body mechanics and deformations
  • Must have good working knowledge in cleanup files, QC, naming convention and well organize with asset files
  • Experience with PYTHON, Mel is must and C,C is a plus. scripting/programming languages (python, MEL, PERL, C, C ) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Gimp, Krita, Maya, Blender, Substance designer, Quixel mixer, 3d-coat, Mari, Armor painter, Materialize
  • Must have Strong understanding about principles of Color Theory, light and materials, Modeling and UV Mapping.
  • From Art point of view, Essential to be skilled in Painting and Image editing skills.
  • Confident, Self-Aware, and good at presenting their work.
  • Good Communication,Interpersonal and Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work within high-pressure, fast paced environment while meeting strict deadlines

Desired Candidates Skill:

  • An Art, Cinema buff and if u love to read you are possibly at the right place
  • Ability to Analyse and Understand the Script, Client/ Director Notes
  • Strong mastering of MAYA rigging tools especially for the creation of joints and skeletons, skinning and weighting, IK configuration, blend shapes and deformers, nodes dependency
  • Knowledge of a LINUX / windows environment
  • Problem-solving: find solutions to animators challenges, continuously learn new ways to improve
  • Possess familiarity with asset management systems and procedures.
  • Good understanding of node base workflow and troubleshoot the errors.Experience with shader graphs and transfering shader and textures
  • Knowledge on Secondary rig setups (automated follow through)and workflow knowledge in integrating cloth and hair setups.
  • Must know about industry standard pipeline tools (shotgun), file management and publishing or creating files for different departments.
  • Must have experience modifying shading network GUI’s and defining templates for other artists
  • Must have good Knowledge of Rigging, Texturing, Lookdev
  • Must have a good eye for detail to understand the concept of material aging, how an object/material changes its shape and texture over time.
  • Be able to take direction, and be prepared to make changes to work in response to constructive feedback
  • Have good communication and presentation skills
