Allianz is hiring MicroStrategy Developer

Job location: Trivandrum (currently work from home).

1. Knowledge of SQL

2. Databases Snowflake

3. Data Vault Methodology

4. DWH Automation tools e.g. Wherescape , DBT etc.

5. Data Visualization and Reporting (MicroStrategy)

6. Knowledge of Javascript / Python are an added bonus

• Experience in creating MicroStrategy Schema and application objects such as Logical tables, attributes, facts, Hierarchies, metrics, prompts, filters, consolidations and custom groups
• Hands on experience in Micro Strategy Components like MSTR Architect, Desktop/Developer, MSTR Administration , Web, Distribution services , Transaction services and SDK
• Should have experience in designing semantic layer for huge data warehouse projects
• Experience in Report Services, Dynamic Dashboard, Mobile Dashboards, Report development and visualization
• Good understanding and knowledge of Star/ Snowflake/ Dimensional data modelling, Data Warehouse and reporting techniques
• Experience working with the full life cycle development process, which includes analysis, design, development and testing
• Strong SQL skills and ability to create simple to complex Schema Objects as per the requirements
• Experience in working with Logical data models, different types of hierarchies in Micro Strategy
• Experience in working with complex Micro Strategy reports using advanced filters, level metrics, transformation metrics and using pass through functions in the schema objects
• Experience in implementing Micro Strategy security model Experience in Object Manager, Enterprise Manager, Command Manager and System manager
• Experience in performance tuning of various Reports and Dashboards using VLDB Properties
• Works with other architects, developers and data analysts to review requirements and data mart schemas for optimal performance of business intelligence solutions
• Developing business intelligence applications for data analysis, optimized for the best performance and scalability requirements using Micro Strategy technology.
• Developed basic and user-specified Metrics (level and conditional)
• Responsible for efficient design and usage of various attribute dimensions like Customer, Product, Payment, Geographic and Time dimensions, and integrating them into reports displaying forecasting metrics.
• Manage effective implementation of all projects, prepare associate documents and perform appropriate tests on same.
• Develop and maintain various codes, documents and associate technical files
• Analyze all business associate issues and develop solutions for same.
• Monitor all programs and ensure compliance to all technical specifications and prepare modifications if required.
• Organize data, perform updates on systems and ensure compliance to timeframe.
• Coordinate with project manager and evaluate all assign task.
• Provide technical support to all employees and resolve all complex issues.
• Design effective plans for projects and ensure standardize programs for all projects
• Develop test plans for programs and modify programs if required.
• Participate in various teams and prepare reports and analyse effective solutions for business partners.
