Job Description

To Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.

  • To Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring system health and performance to ensure elevated performance levels, availability, and Security.
  • Manage ETL tools and Migration of the database from one server to another.
  • Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
  • Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
  • To Create a recovery model for disaster recovery.
  • Design indexing strategies.
  • Configure SQL databases on Azure cloud.
  • Review database changes and design new database.
  • Maintain Database Access, Database Security and do an audit.
  • Prevention of Deadlock and Timeouts.
  • Automation process for backup / restore / cleanup.
  • Configuration of the database for on-premises and cloud.
  • Designing coding guideline for SQL programming.
  • Configure Database Software.

Skills:

  • Performance Tuning and Optimization for database and server level
  • MS SQL Server 2019 with Azure cloud SQL database.
  • Performance Tuning and Optimization for database and server level.
  • Must write SP, function, Triggers, Tables, View etc..
  • Strong Technical and Interpersonal Communication.
  • Work Closely with Development Teams with Regards to Database Updates and Design.
  • Good knowledge of Indexes, Execution plan and missing indexes.
  • Proficient with SQL server profiler for monitoring and troubleshooting database activity and performance.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS).
  • Candidate Must have knowledge of ETL.
  • Improve performance using wait statistics.
