Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Oil Palm Plantation Field Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in expanding our oil palm plantations by creating awareness, attracting new farmers, and nurturing existing plantations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Awareness: Develop and execute strategies to raise awareness about the benefits of oil palm cultivation among local farmers.
• Farmer Attraction: Attract new farmers to join our oil palm cultivation program by showcasing the advantages and opportunities it offers.
• Existing Plantation Care: Oversee and manage the well-being of existing oil palm plantations, ensuring optimal growth and yield.
• Area Expansion: Work towards increasing the total area under oil palm cultivation by identifying suitable land and encouraging farmers to adopt oil palm.
• Farmer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local farmers, providing them with guidance and support throughout the cultivation process.
• Outreach: Actively reach out to new potential farmers and engage them in discussions about oil palm cultivation.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Telugu is essential as it is required for effective communication with local farmers.
• Willingness to relocate to the designated area where our plantations are located.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for sustainable agriculture and a commitment to promoting environmentally friendly practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the local agricultural landscape and farming practices is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
