Job Description :
Ensuring smooth functioning of all operational activities related to Depository operations inter-alia including maintenanceof records for demat account holders and compliances thereof, operations related to issuers and depository participants covering services, regulatory disclosures, compliance requirements, commercials, ensuring smooth execution to core settlement operations, corporate actions, billing, recoveries, market communication.
Ability to engage with various stakeholders including regulators, MIIs, auditors, depository participants, issuers, RTAs,internal stake holders, vendors, etc.
Spearheading transformation initiatives for implementing software developments/system enhancements for critical operations and capability to actively collaborate with technology, regulatory and other functional teams.
Ability to pro-actively contribute to identifying enhancements, automation of activities, business transformation ideas,ability to define and use business analytics and MIS for improvement in key metrics for operations functions
In-depth knowledge of Indian securities markets value chain, the market infrastructure institutions (MIIs) and in particular the depository activities.
In-depth understanding of regulatory framework including SEBI regulations, circulars and assesses its impact on the operations.
Should actively participate in regulatory policy making and market development initiatives taken up by SEBI.

• Should be responsible for data procedures and policies, work closely with concerned teams/departments to collect, prepare, organise, protect, analyse data assets
• Should have inclination to understand business operations, designing and implementing data strategies and systems.
• Should be able to leverage modelling techniques to identify, analyse and present actionable data to drive business decisions
• Should be able to lead, motivate and manage technical teams/data scientists/analysts
• Should have in-depth knowledge of relevant applications, big data solutions and tools
