Key Responsibilities:

1. Accurately dispense prescription medications and ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

2. Provide patient counseling and education on medication usage, side effects, and precautions.

3. Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and potential allergies.

4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and provide valuable insights regarding medication therapy.

5. Handle purchases and sales of medications and other related products.

6. Maintain records of purchases and sales on software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

7. Manage inventory control of medications, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing wastage.

8. Coordinate with delivery personnel for timely and safe delivery of medicines to customers.

9. Maintain accurate patient records and confidentially handle sensitive information.

10. Offer recommendations for over-the-counter products based on customer needs and concerns.

11. Stay updated with new drugs, medical breakthroughs, and regulations related to pharmaceutical practice.

12. Address customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.

13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Diploma of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

2. Valid license and registration.

3. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, their uses, and potential interactions.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.

6. Proficient computer skills and experience with pharmacy management systems.

7. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

8. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
