The Network Automation Business Unit under Nokia’s Network Infrastructure (NI) group creates software which provides Best-in-Class management of IP and Optical networks for a
world-wide customer base. Our flagship Network Services Platform (NSP) product is the industry leading product that provides state-of-the-art management for all of Nokia’s IP portfolio along with SDN capabilities as well as an evolving multi-vendor/multidomain networks. It is built using various next generation technologies, including - Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Postgres DB, Keycloak, Kafka, Web application frameworks (REACT), HTML5, JavaScript, Netconf/RestConf etc

We are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced individuals to join our team. In this role, you will help test and automate solutions that are scalable, relevant, and critical to our company’s and products success.

Responsibilities will include -

  • Testing of features and enhancements made in product to achieve customer high availability network requirements, while reaching defined scale and performance targets.
  • Automating complete end-to-end feature testing and integrating the same in Regression Environment. We believe there is no testing that’s not 100% automated.
  • Working in a team-based agile environment; collaborate with Developers, and Product Management to refine requirements, and test our Carrier grade solutions.
  • Interacting with Support Teams to provide software solutions to field-reported issues.
  • Keenly following and participating in standardization activities in this space.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS –

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Programming/Scripting experience in JS and Shell.
  • Web Automation experience in Selenium or any other similar technologies.
  • Experience of testing and automating distributed scale-out backend systems and large web-scale systems
  • Knowledge of debugging & troubleshooting microservice based applications running in open-source container orchestration platform like Kubernetes
  • Experience on technologies like K8S, ELK, Prometheus, Kafka, Docker and databases like Postgres DB
  • Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols like SNMP, Netconf/Restconf, GNMI etc.
  • Understanding of Basic IP Networking (Routing & Switching) is must.
