The team you’ll be part of

The MN Services Digitalization Unit is looking for a candidate for a Product Manager position in the Digital Design, Configuration, Optimization Automation Solutions (DDCOA) organization. The DDCOA organization has responsibility to develop, enhance and maintain many of the automation solutions that are used globally in the MN Services Network Planning & Optimization Service Unit (NPO SU).

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

What you will learn and contribute to

You will need to be an experienced Product Manager.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Responsible to do elicitation of business needs received from business representatives (NPO SU) in support of the Network Performance Analytics Suite (NPAS)
  • Translate the business needs into User Stories and drive the handover to the SCRUM team.
  • Responsible to lead discussions with the development team to explain the requests from business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate new features / requirements implementation and their added value to key users.
  • Liaise with other Product Managers and Business Analysts when dependencies are identified.
  • Responsible to document the changes to be implemented and manage validation with the project stakeholders

Key deliverables:

  • Documented high level and low-level requirements
  • Project plan for software deliveries
  • Creation & update of the user stories and related acceptance criteria
  • Roadmap plan in partnership with business stakeholder

Your skills and experience

You must have:

  • Network Planning and Optimization (NPO) telecommunications experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, MS Azure (Azure Kubernetes Service AKS, Azure monitor, storage accounts), cloud technologies, containerization, services such as KAFKA, Azure DevOps
  • 5 + years of Product Management or Business Analyst IT application knowledge
  • Knowledge of Mastering Requirement Process; plan, direct, execute process knowledge
  • Experienced with Agile and SCRUM; define stakeholder requirements (User Stories) and acceptance criteria
  • Advanced knowledge of business analyst tools such as JIRA and Confluence including bug tracking and triage systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication;

It would be nice if you also had:

  • MS in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline
  • Background in application development
  • Self-motivated, well-organized individual who can prioritize and work within a team.
  • Experience with QA metrics, defect management and reporting
