Minimum qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in software product management.
  • Experience developing Internet products and technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in online trust and safety/risk management fields.
  • Experience in core risk and payments infrastructure, data, tools, systems, and workflows.
  • Experience working with a risk management vendor.
  • Experience working in the payments industry, including processors, issuers, banks, networks.
  • Experience developing technical roadmaps and plans to implement solutions, and communication of the roadmap to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate on different levels of abstraction, from technical to executive.

Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the goal and strategy for the mitigation of Payments Risk on Google’s products.
  • Drive the business requirements for product launches by designing products and solutions for business processes reducing risk, customer impact with increased efficiency.
  • Anticipate evolving payments landscape and emerging regulations that could impact Payments Risk product responsibilities. Facilitate products and remediations, drive complex operational initiatives with strategic orientation while improving the overall Risk mitigation solutions.
  • Work closely with Risk, partner engineering, data science teams, risk operations, analytics, customers to drive Risk Platform product strategy and roadmap. Craft product narratives that inspire and influence teams across verticals and the platform.
  • Develop the latest innovations in managing Payments Risk and application to Google’s business objectives. Provide thought leadership and product, and technical expertise in the Risk Management domain.
