Team and Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Product Specialist. This role is an opportunity to contribute to the development and rollout of our Adenza Market solutions. Within the Product Management group, this person will work closely with our internal teams to gather requirements on new features/functionalities, analyze defects, write documentation, and help on automating testing processes. The person must have a strong Mathematical, Statistical, and Analytical Background and relevant work experience acquired in a financial institution or a Fintech software company.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and research needed to improve and refine the Market Risk solution
• Gather and prioritize inputs from market analysis, sales demands, and team ideas to ensure that the roadmap matches the actual market requirements.
• Write detailed functional requirements and specifications and work with the development team to build the correct solutions.
• Participate in product launches.
• Create product documentation and marketing collateral for sales, prospects, and customers.
• Provide professional expertise and product knowledge to internal, customers, and partners.
• Monitor changes to the regulatory requirements and adapts the Adenza solution to support them in the necessary timeframe.
• Understand market requirements by interacting with customers and the company’s customer support people.
• Work collaboratively with customers and prospects to gather feedback used to drive customer satisfaction and the product roadmap.
• Coordinate work of software engineers, quality assurance team members, and documentation to ensure timely delivery of a product.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors or master’s degree in business/finance field or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years relevant, work experience building or working with software solutions for Risk or working in a Bank / Financial Institution’s Risk department
• Strong knowledge of Risk management, VaR, Risk Analyses, Sensitivities, and Credit exposure based on analytical or simulated models, plus a good understanding of bank regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of trade valuation based on linear and non-linear models, curve and volatility surface construction
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, be a fast learner, self-motivated, team player, and collaborator with strong problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Experience of working with behavior-driven development and familiarity with plain language parser Gherkin or similar tool is a plus
• Knowing Java/VBA will be an added advantage is a plus

Our office

Adenza Mumbai is located on the 2nd floor of the Ackruti Center Point building. We’re very close to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, and Five Star hotels. We have excellent transport links nearby, including Andheri Metro and railway station. Restaurants like China Gate, Box, Tunga International are just opposite of our building. We have two large offices on the 2nd floor and our cafeteria is modern with a coffee vending machine, coffee/tea/snacks are always available as well games like Carrom, Foosball, Chess, Table Tennis, etc. Two boxes of fresh fruit are delivered once a week.
