Job Title: Program Specialist – Customer Excellence (Content Analyst)

Location: Hyderabad

Job Purpose
The Global Presales Content Team is responsible for ensuring that AVEVA’s positioning in the market is communicated in a highly differentiated and compelling way.

Through the development of high-value content, effective messaging and the cultivation of best practices and content innovations, this role will help AVEVA’s Presales team (Solution Consultants, Business Value Consultants and Architects) and others maximize the AVEVA Value Based Sales approach through the alignment of content with buyer expectations, priorities, and preferences.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities
  • Detailed language review and proofreading of text and graphics to identify typographical and grammatical errors in customer deliverables
  • Sentence rephrasing and restructuring to represent the idea in best shape and ensure clarity, coherence, consistency, flow and readability
  • Check for correctness in grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and other mechanics of style
  • Engage with, and support, Presales customer opportunities
  • Develop and evolve customer facing collateral, gold-standard templates, white papers, etc.
  • Design, develop and promote new, inspiring, and differentiated content that can be used to excite our audiences and demonstrate AVEVA’s expertise in the field of Asset Lifecycle and Operations Lifecycle Management, and in the context of emerging technologies such as Cloud and AI
  • Develop content that is supportive of and extends the key themes in AVEVA’s corporate positioning and resonates strongly with the audiences we serve, particularly around Industrial Software Automation
  • Lead the industry and value-based research that drives customer messaging
  • Align and integrate content with marketing, product management, industry cloud, etc. teams
  • Help build and develop visual representations of our messaging structure and solution strategy such as marketectures and infographics
  • Act as a sounding board in the development of key messaging themes and content throughout the production lifecycle
  • Develop and curate Presales knowledge management content
  • Participate in, contribute to, and in some cases, lead multiple disparate efforts

Desired Qualifications (Knowledge and Skills)
  • 3 - 5 years of solution specialist, solutions marketing (or equivalent customer facing) experience preferred in areas appropriate to the job
  • Extensive experience in copy editing, proofreading, and documentation with close attention to details
  • Absolutely fluent in English language (British and American), both written and verbal communications – English language certification/degree preferred
  • Ability to build strong stories and compelling narratives
  • Familiarity with IT management and IT evaluation process
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Background in working in matrixed environments
  • General application and technology knowledge
  • Integrates seamless in project teams and takes an active expert role
  • Executes different type of delivery activities
  • Fulfills expert role in external or internal project teams
  • Working across multiple cultures
  • Skilled in crafting feedback and delivering enablement and training
  • Expert MS PowerPoint and MS Word skills
  • A flexible attitude and an ability to produce excellent work with minimal guidance

This role requires a balance of technical, communication and marketing skills: it’s critical that you understand what drives B2B technology buyers to make investments in technology and the role of content in influencing buying decisions. You should also have a strong sense of the forces shaping the future evolution of this discipline.

It’s also vitally important that you can communicate these concepts with ease and confidence, both in writing and in person. You will have an in-depth understand of how Sales and Presales organizations in technology companies work and how best you can work with the various teams that will provide you with information and consume the work you produce.

Ideally, you’ll have a strong solution marketing background of three-five years or more where you’ve already proven that you possess a good balance of technical, communications and process improvement skills.
