Job content

1. Conceptualize the business model of the cluster (Apex FPO) and support
program team/ FPO’s to build systems and procedures to meet market
requirements.
2. Guiding and developing the systems and processes for various business
processes such as procurement, accounting, developing standard operating
procedures for FPO’s agribusiness activities.
3. Providing field level operational and administrative support for the
formation, capacity building, and governance and market linkages for
farmer’s producer organization in different projects.
4. Team capacity building for smooth functioning of Apex FPO.
5. Coordinate multiple and holistic components including Monitoring,
Planning, Training, Strategic Implementation of activities and supervision/
guiding, which are to be carried out within project timelines
6. Ability to prepare output, outcome and impact matrix of agriculture & other
activities.
7. Identification of feasible agribusiness investment opportunities in the project
clusters by carrying out detail assessment.
8. Develop and strengthen relationships/ networking with line department,
government officers, corporate and institutional buyers.
9. Identify new/innovation business models and technology suitable for apex
member FPO’s to increase their turnover.
10. Developing cluster level FPO wise business plans with projections like IRR,
ROI - execution and tracking the same.
11. Promotion and scaling up of cluster approach by FPO’s for bulk production
of project supported agricultural/Horticultural & commodities to promote
collective marketing, develop effective model for dissemination of
technology.
12. Support in development of Village level collection centre that will be linked
to processing for aggregation of the produce at Farm-gate/Nearest market
yard.
13. Assessment of various storage (cold storage /other) structure & infrastructure
available in the cluster & provide area specific suitable suggestion to bridge
the gap.
14. Identification of various market place/periodic/weekly markets including
infrastructure and suggest up gradation. Post financing, support in actual
implementation of the infrastructure.
15. Helping a continued evaluation of the program by coordinating with
stakeholders like NABARD/NABKISAN/Agriculture Dept. etc.
