JOB SUMMARY:

Act as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile Methodology Is also a custodian for the Agile process and ensures all scrum processes are used as intended Protects the team, removes barriers to successful implementation, and keeps them focused on the task at hand Helps the Product Owner maximize productivity. Maintain the backlog and release plans, publish reports to ensure the product owner is updated about the teams progress.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Agile project managers perform various functions in helping their teams complete project assignments in record time.

● Handle various responsibilities such as planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing all aspects of the project.

● Manage multiple projects. Be a single point of contact/ownership on the delivery of the projects.

● Should be comfortable to work with any of the agile modules.

● Decide deadlines and budget of the project accordingly.

● Interact with company clients and understand their requirements.

● Maintain a status report of the project and also keep a record of the previous reports.

● Compile historical data available with the team and present it for reference of senior officials and the team members on the project.

● Present status reports of the project to the senior officials of the organization.

● Conduct training sessions for the team members and explain to them using the agile methods.

● Maintain the software systems and provide necessary infrastructure such as software and operating systems

. ● Help in the development and implementation of agile projects.

● Assist in team development by removing road-blocks to their work, mentoring them and making a good utilization of organizational resources to improve capacity for projects.

● Promote empowerment of the team by ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in the project with meaningful contribution

● Encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team.

    Qualification and Skills:

    · Ph.D or Master’s degree with progressive experience in IQAC/student services functional capacity within a higher education institution.

    · 10 years of direct experience, or 15 years in a related area

    · Demonstrated understanding of the application of modern communication technology.

    · Strong interest in being an advocate for both faculty and students through direct and indirect interaction, i.e procedural and systems development.

    · Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills

    · Successful supervisory experience in a people-oriented environment

    · Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

    · Experience in enhancement and coordination among various activities of the institution and institutionalize all good practices.
