Job Title: Area Sales Manager - FMCG Products

Location: Punjab

Package: Up to 6 LPA

Job Overview:Anveshan is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with 10-15 years of experience to join our team as an Area Sales Manager for our Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products in Punjab. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in achieving sales targets, managing high-performance teams, and driving market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to surpass sales targets.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor assessments to identify growth opportunities.

2.Team Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire a team of sales representatives towards achieving excellence.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to enhance team performance.

3.Market Expansion:

  • Identify and evaluate new market segments, potential customers, and distribution channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to launch impactful campaigns.

4.Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers.
  • Promptly address and resolve customer concerns to ensure satisfaction.

5.Sales Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare insightful sales reports, analyze performance metrics, and present findings to management.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales strategies for optimal outcomes.

6.Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the annual sales budget for the designated area.
  • Monitor expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.

7.Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Uphold and enhance the brand image and reputation in the market.

Qualifications and Skills:

1.Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

2.Experience:

  • Proven success as an Area Sales Manager within the FMCG industry.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience with Reliance, Metro CnC, or D-Mart is highly desirable.

3.Leadership Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to inspire and drive a high-performance sales team.

4.Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data to drive strategic decision-making.

5.Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
