professional services and we are looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to join our Financial Advisory Marketing Team to make an impact and help develop our go-to-market (GTM) activities.

The role will sit in our Financial Advisory Growth team, a fully integrated and collaborative group of Researchers, Marketers, Business Developers and Bid advisors. Our purpose is to enable Financial Advisory to achieve commercial outcomes through effective GTM strategy and execution. Your role will be critical in shaping how we achieve this for FA in collaboration with the wider firm.

You will be part of a team helping to deliver our FA Propositions (M&A, Illicit Finance and Sustainability & Climate) alongside the Marketing Leads, using multiple channels to market to help FA inform, educate and build sustainable relationships with our clients.

Work you’ll do

The key job responsibilities include:

  • Support the delivery of marketing campaigns across our FA propositions in support of the FA go to market strategy. This will include:
    • Participate in planning meetings to agree the detail of marketing campaigns/programmes for the forthcoming year.
    • Take end to end ownership of discrete parts of the marketing activity planned.
    • Work with the firmwide Growth teams (in USI and UK) to ensure best practice implementation and impactful delivery.
    • Support campaign/programme reporting during and post-activity to effectively evaluate ROI around the 3Rs (relationships, revenue and reputation) to help shape and deliver the activities.
  • Demonstrate advisory capabilities to steer FA stakeholders on their proposed marketing activity (aligned and non-aligned to the FA propositions) by discussing their objectives and target audience, and providing best practice marketing guidance. This will include a degree of constructive challenge.
  • Manage the team activity trackers and marketing support request form, as well as owning the team activity calendar and intranet pages.
  • Support our digital eminence and social media activities for our FA Propositions and GTM activity, also leading on social card design requests.
  • Act as a conduit to marketing assets and activities taking place across the firm which could be relevant and useful for FA client audiences.
  • Be the Marketing team’s CRM (Jupiter) and email marketing champion, ensuring contact records and campaign marketing lists on Jupiter are kept up-to-date, and implement best practice.

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications and skills

  • Any Graduate with a background in Marketing
  • Specific skillset to include: Marketing Campaign & Event Management, Information Gathering, Reporting, Knowledge Management and Communication.
  • Delivery of integrated, creative marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Capacity to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives; works well under pressure
  • Understands the breadth of capability of Deloitte’s wider UK Growth teams and is able to bring this to bear to campaigns.
  • Team player – shows evidence of working with others to get things done, specifically across a matrix structure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency in connecting virtually with multiple teams.
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, including presentation skills, that clearly articulate priorities and expectations.
  • Adept with MS Office – word, excel, power point.
  • Evidence of participation and interest in the broader activities and positioning of the firm.
  • Experience in digital channels, including email marketing, website content, and social media.
