Job Description

  • External Environment Awareness & policies to adapt To see through the overall economic changes affecting the portfolio quality and put preventive course of action well in advance to prevent fraud risk.
  • Take timely measure to protect the portfolio from fraud risk per se in case of adverse policy changes, implement certain internal controls etc Market Intelligence Ensuring fraud risk policies are designed in order to capture the right market segment and will help in meeting the stated business volume ( as planned during the start of the year ) within the overall Loss rates as planned / defined for the product.
  • Review the market scenarios on a constant basis, interact with industry players, external agencies to keep a tab on industry happenings.
  • Ensure fraud risk policy changes are aligned to grow the portfolio in the right geographies and curtailed in bad markets to achieve the overall targeted portfolio and business numbers Monitoring Identify/devise key metrics and trackers signalling the concerns from fraud risk aspect and put the erring segments in scanner with necessary controls.
  • The controls would need to be monitored on an ongoing basis , to identify lapses if any Tracking the TTD closely.
  • Quality checks on key RIC activities Leading the Team Guiding and directing the regional & central RIC teams on overall management objectives and directions, specific immediate task and goals.
  • Defining objective of each task and work direction.
  • Collaboration with Business Teams Influencing the business decision with high degree of involvement with Business Heads / Business Managers and drive through agenda and resolving complexities amongst different business verticals.
  • Create an atmosphere where the product specific escalations / directions are closed at his end and the solutions are in the best interest of the bank and have concurrence across all business verticals Drive risk agenda in line with banks philosophy and help in resolving complexities / conflicts amongst different verticals related to the business to achieve common objectives through close interaction with product specific Heads from Operations, Product, Collection, Policy and Process Regular Visits Regularly visiting locations related to businesses handled, meet dealers, vendors, departmental heads & all other stakeholders.
  • Interacting with regional business heads, collection heads and credit head to have ground level feedback on regional scenario & discuss strategies, processes and policies to handle specific requirements.
  • Liasoning with Stakeholders Closely interact with other divisions of the bank namely branch banking heads, ZH, CHs etc during the visit, explain them the risk perspective and regional risk, Updating senior management regularly on the key trends of all the products handled, implement their suggestions, drive key actionable.
  • Publishing newsletter and other critical MIS, discussing and closing out on key Actionables in timely manner.

  • Credit and Risk understating
  • Banking Product & Process Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Competition & Current trends in financial Industry.
  • Should have strong analytical skills with eye for detailing and have strong process management skills.
  • Must also have strong presentation and communication skill
  • Strong execution skills.
