Job Description:

Job Purpose:
To manage activities of Lab operations, Lab equipment, chemist ROTA, daily production declaration, quality report generation. follow FTR concept and accordingly plan to submit report where the gaps observed. SOP follow and improvement. Focus on Manufacturing excellence and lean management.

Principal Accountabilities:

    • Accountable for day to day safe & effective laboratory operations.
    • Demonstrate practical approach & having conversant with ME & LEAN management tools
    • Take care of rota & leave management of team members
    • Lead analytical team & ensure OTIF for all RM/PI/FP analysis
    • Responsible for operation, validation, calibration & maintenance & upkeep of analytical instruments
    • Have knowledge of IMS system & provide input to strengthen the same
    • Knowledge of LAB-WARE systems
    • Analytical skills set for wet chemistry & instrumental analysis
    • SAP related knowledge like PR generation
    • Adherence to all compliance pertaining lab function
    • Gas cylinder management for laboratory with compliance
    • NC & quality reports
    • Disposal of HAZ/Non-HAZ wastes
    • On time Raw material analysis & clearance
    • On time FP analysis & clearance
    • Take care of breakthrough chloride rig testing facility
    • Conversant with PTW system
    • Decide upon the quality budget every year in discussion with Top Management
    • Manage all Quality assurance and Quality control (inspection) function as per guidelines
    • Review quality schedule of various units and ensure AMCs of equipment
    • Ensure department SOPs are in place, monitor all documentary requirements for various Audits.
    • Knowledge of lab equipment, like chemisorb, XRF, ICP, TGA, ISPA, Tristar, performance rigs (chloride and Sulphur)
