Research Scientist - Cosmetics/ Personal Care/ Personal Hygiene/ Home Care / Beauty Product

Location -Bangalore

Industry - Consumer Care / Personal Care Industry

Years of Exp -12-15 years

M.Sc or PhD in Analytical chemistry or cosmetics

Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible to lead & guide the team of scientists working on Personal care and Homecare products working on analytical method development, validation and method transferactivities.
  • Guide and lead the team on method development activities for products like face washes, shampoos, soaps, tooth pastes, creams, lotionsetc. using modern equipment like Rheometer, particle size analyzer, texture analyzer, HPLC, size exclusion chromatograph, Ion chromatograph, surface tensiometer, ICP-MS, GC-MS-MS etc.
  • Familiarity to BIS standards, PCPC, ISO, COSMOS, Pharmacopoeial standards, ICH guidelinesand other global standards relevant to cosmetic and homecare products

    • Required Skill sets :-

    Applicants should have experience of working in cosmetic/personal care industry of repute with a good track record of facing external and internal audits and should have good knowledge about quality systems.

    If the applicant has good scientific publications in the field of cosmetic/personal care analysis it would be an added advantage

    Outstation candidates willing to relocate to Bangalore can also apply.

    Experienced in Method development, Method Transfer activities in Personal care industry or personal care products.
