Favo Robotics is a deep tech start-up developing a modular robotic platform capable of automating construction processes. We are developing a modular, compact, and mobile robot platform capable of automating various construction activities. Our flagship product AutoMason is a collaborative concrete 3D printing and brick masonry robot to increase productivity by 10x and drive down the construction cost. We are funded and supported by MoHUA India through IIT Kharagpur as an incubation & technical handholding partner and Brigade REAP, TCIS as an acceleration partner. Roles & Responsibilities of Senior Robotics Software Engineer
1. Be the torchbearer of the Robotics Software development team in taking the product from the prototype development stage to the commercialization stage.
2. Develop software systems for localization, path planning, navigation, object detection and swarm systems.
3. Implement various techniques to achieve the best possible precision and accuracy in real-time.
4. Review codes and develop test strategies for new features.
5. Collaborate with Mechanical and Automation departments to ensure compatibility with different modules.
6. Deploy the robot on-site environments and test it.
7. Accompany the operations team to the site to understand the pain problems of the customers and develop MVPs to validate the features.
8. Understand the team and motivate them to get the best output possible.

Must-Have
1. B.Tech or Master’s Degree in Robotics or a closely related field with a focus on robotics.
2. 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the product development cycle of autonomous robotic systems.
3. Deep knowledge and practical experience in ROS/ROS2 or relevant architectures and algorithms.
Proficient in sensor fusion and real-time control.
