Job Description :-

Purpose of the Role : Support the Regional Sales Manager in driving sales of vision-related products within a specific region to achieve profitable growth as per the assigned targets.

Description of the Role :-

1. Key Account Management: Responsible for managing all Key and Priority accounts within the defined territory.

2. Sales and Revenue Generation: Accountable for sales, collection, and revenue for assigned customers, with a particular focus on A-category customers within the territory.

3. Customer Expansion: Responsible for activating new customers’ business and increasing the share of wallet with existing customers.

4. Distributor Handling: Manage relationships with distributors in the region.

5. Partnership Programs: Actively participate in partnership programs, likely related to the optical industry.

6. Below-The-Line (BTL) Activities: Support BTL activities with key accounts, which typically involve targeted marketing and promotional activities.

7. Business Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for driving successful business growth within the territory.

8. Industry Experience: Ideally, the candidate should have relevant experience in the optical industry or in sales within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Fast-Moving Consumer Durables (FMCD) sectors.

Candidate Requirements :-

• Education: Any graduation is required, with a preference for a B.Sc. degree. An MBA in Marketing or Sales is also desirable.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are a must for this role.

• Experience: Candidates should have 6 to 11 years of experience in the consumer products industry, which includes experience in sales and possibly channel management.

• Channel and Distribution Management: Strong skills in managing channels and distribution are important for this role.

Essential Knowledge and Skills :-

• Communication and Sales: The incumbent should have proven communication and sales capabilities, enabling them to engage in meaningful discussions with professionals like ophthalmologists.

• Product Knowledge: An ability to grasp specialty products and an understanding of niche market segments, likely related to vision-related products.

• Planning and Analytical Abilities: The candidate should be self-motivated with proven planning and analytical abilities.

• Customer Focus: They should be sensitive and prompt in responding to customer needs and adaptable to market challenges.
