IT Product Management Senior Advisor

You will be working with some of the best minds and talents in the data space including business stakeholders, architects, application teams, privacy, security, governance etc. We believe in empowering our teams and leaders to take end to end ownership of the outcomes with the highest focus on quality, stability, security and customer satisfaction.

As a Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for end to end delivery of data products and solutions. You will work closely with Business and IT teams to identify problems which can be solved using data and insights. These solutions will need to connect enterprise datasets across functions in a secure, reliable and easy to use manner.

You will:

  • Interact with users, business and IT teams, empathize with their pain points, analyse their data needs and drive end to end solutioning of data driven solutions
  • Define product vision, roadmap, backlogs and ensure execution excellence with business outcome-oriented metrics. Drives use cases through complete lifecycle
  • Ensure the highest levels of data quality, reliability, security and usability in all deliverables. Mentoring junior team members on technical and functional skills. Functional knowledge of business processes is good to have.
  • Work closely with end users, data engineering teams, solution architects, data platform teams to design best in class solutions and drive joint priorities
  • Establish contemporary, best in class data management practices in line with the architectural Northstar defined by the organization

Essential Requirements

  • 10 - 12 years of relevant IT experience in Data-Warehousing technologies with excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Deep knowledge of Big Data technologies with at least 5 years of technical hands on data engineering experience
  • Knowledge on data platforms like Teradata, Greenplum, Cloud Platforms, Hadoop; data engineering tech stack including Informatica, Streamsets, Kafka, Spark, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, MemSQL etc.
  • Track record of leading complex, large scale data projects and data products. Strong leadership skills for driving and collaborating cross functional groups

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in handling Data Security and Governance
  • Prior experience in delivering full stack Applications, APIs
