Senior BA with Tableau
The Role
For our office at Bangalore in India, where the culture is casual, social, and international, we are
looking for Tableau Developer who is an enthusiastic graduate with exceptional analytical and
writing skills with a strong interest in management consulting. Work experience in publishing
houses/ management consulting firms focused on scientific research is a bonus.
The role will be focused on working with our team of experts and clients to harness the power of
data through DT’s solution suite; leveraging our assessments and benchmarking data to provide
tailored insights into critical aspects of our client’s digital and customer experience
transformation efforts. Supporting the development of strategies that use these insights to make
the right decisions and get on track to achieve top performance.

different, from analyzing data sets & creating client deliverables to supporting our internal
thought leadership & enhancing / creating new offerings.

The Opportunity
As a Tableau Devleoper at DT you will be helping to Design, Develop, Publish, Test and
Troubleshoot Dashboards and Data Sources. You will also be the primary point of contact to
communicate and co-ordinate with different stakeholders including Functional Users, Client
leads, SME’s , directors and partners in the firm.Becoming part of our team presents a unique

TABLEAU DEVELOPER- DT CONSULTING
Role and Responsibilities
A. When collecting and analysing data you are expected to have:
1. A strong , logical and analytical mindset
2. An ability to notice pattern within statistics
3. Preparing data for use by Tableau.
4. An ability to monitor the progress of data collection
5. Establishing connections to Data sources
6. Adding or Creating Dimensions, Measures, Parameters and Calculations
7. Perform Data Modelling in Tableau Desktop
8. Developing Workbooks and Hyper Extracts on Tableau Desktop
9. Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best
practices
10. Evaluate program methodology and key data, to ensure that data on the releases are
accurate and the angle of the release is correct
11. An ability to indentify, structure and store the data in a way that it can be harnessed for
ongoing/future research and commercial projects
12. Document all data and research procedures
B. When developing client deliverables you are expected to have:
1. Accuracy with a methodical approach to work
2. Incredible attention to detail
3. Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills
4. An ability to create detailed reports of both qualitative and quantitative findings
5. Good tableau dashboarding skills with an ability to simplify findings into visually appealing
presentations.
C. When supporting business development /thought leadership/operations team, you are
expected to have:
1. Follow up Managers for any required approvals
2. Follow up with Interactors/Viewers to complete DocuSign attestations.
3. Co-ordinating with consulting operations team for production deployment
4. Providing support for Tableau issues reported by the consulting team members
5. Providing knowledge transfer and support to Interactors and Viewers.

Background
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, business, IT, management,
administration, economics, or information science
  • Four to six years experience in an applied research or data management environment;
experience in IT, economics, business/systems analysis, quality assurance, or relevant
position
  • Able to manipulate large, complex data sets using a variety of software applications (VBA,
Macros, SAS, Advanced Excel,Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite), including the use of relational
databases
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, version control, document management and
reference management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex
concepts and information in a logical and concise manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills with a balanced approach to problem-solving, using flexibility and
persistence as appropriate
  • Dedicated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and be open to new ideas
  • Self motivated to work independently on projects
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
