Roles and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for the data engineering aspects such as develop, deployment & documentation. He will have to maintain the CI/CD pipeline for the service. The candidate is expected to converse in English with Customers on a regular basis. Should be comfortable working on docker or other containerized environment

The role may involve independent analytical tasks or supporting senior team members as per project requirements

The candidate is expected to be comfortable with with software development

The candidate is expected to quickly learn new software tools/technologies related to data engineering



Desired Candidate Profile

  • B.Tech/B.E/MCA or Mtech in Computer science/electronics/electrical engineering tier 1 colleges / universities.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience including documentation and testing
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Python programming language
  • Working experience in containerized, cloud-based environments - AWS/Google could
  • Experience with developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in designing, developing, deploying and operating scalable RESTful micro-services
  • Knowledge and experience in DBMS technologies
  • Knowledge and experience in Monitoring systems
  • Knowledge on software architecture design principles
  • Experience working in a cross-functional and distributed agile teamAccurate and up to date knowledge on research techniques and applications
  • Well-developed analytical, logical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication (written and oral)
  • Experience in P&C Insurance analytics (Claims, Pricing and Marketing) will be a plus.
