Overview

The Senior Engineer, Mobile Application - Should design, develop, and maintain application individually as well as work in a team. Should work as per the defined project priorities and project schedules and ensure to complete the assigned projects within allotted timelines and develop process improvements to improve system quality and efficiency.

Job Role and Responsibility

• Should design, develop, and maintain application individually as well as work in a team.

• Must adhere to agile methodologies and the project management followed in the project

• Should maintain quality and security of the assigned development tasks applying the best design and development guidelines as defined in the project.

• Should work as per the defined project priorities and project schedules and ensure to complete the assigned projects within allotted timelines.

Qualifications

B.E, MCA, BSCIT, Btech, Computer science, MSC computer

Must Have

• Required 5+ years of experience in Android development

• Extensive experience with the Android SDK and Kotlin/ java programming language.

• Strong fundamentals of OOPs, Multithreading collections & data Structure

• Should be able to work on different versions of Android and different screen sizes

• Should be familiar with RESTful APIs, to connect Android applications to back- end services

• Strong knowledge of android UI design principle, patterns, and best practices

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

• Good Knowledge of Android Services, Content Provider, Push Notification, Activity, Fragment

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform and having hands-on mobile

• application development experience for Android phones/tablets.

• Knowledge of Android GUI, Camera, GPS API, Maps API, Services and SQLite database

• Good knowledge in socket programming, device communication.

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

• Good knowledge in In-App purchase, Push Notifications.

• Knowledge in writing unit test cases.

• Knowledge in publishing app to Google Play Store.

• Experience in working in projects run as per Agile Methodology.

• Experience on web services integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).

• Good knowledge of networking libraries, RxJava, Coroutines

• Sound knowledge of JIRA, source control like GIT/SVN

• Sound knowledge of design pattern like MVVM, MVC

• Good debugging skills.

• Good coding standards and documentation skills

• Good knowledge in Bluetooth programming.

• Good to have knowledge in Audio domain and related frameworks.

• Knowledge in Cross platform technologies like React Native

• Experience in C/C++ and Android NDK is a plus.

• Android IDE.

• Experience in code review tools/applications like Gerrit, Codecollaborator (Optional)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
