Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager R&D Personal Care

Department:

NPD > R&D

Qualification:

Minimum 5-8 years for Graduate B.Tech Cosmetic/ B.Pharm/ BSc.Cosmetic/Bsc Chemistry & Minimum 3-5 years for Masters M.Tech / M Pharmacy/ PG Msc in Cosmetics/Pharmacy/ Chemistry or respective field should understand basics of Personal care / Cosmetic /Rx/OTC with QC/QA parameters related to R&D

Any experienced technical person preferred/ relevant person will be considered

Required Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent in computer handling specially MS-Office basic
• Excellent understanding of basics cross functions of NPD- QC/QA for FMCG /Personal care / Cosmetic to perform lab experiment on individual contributor basis
• Candidate have ownership driven working style to lead the R&D projects considering quality control and quality assurance

Jobs and Responsibilities:

• Must come from a Personal Care/Cosmetic/Pharmacy background only.
• The candidate must be a good Product Formulation Developer and evaluate product submissions in a timely manner and communicate with cross functional teams and define product characteristics, technical concepts and ingredients composition.
• Define and set specifications for new or reformulated or existing products basis of cost improvement or quality improvement if existing products
• Prepare starting and finishing formula for trial batches and able to do tech transfer commercial batches.
• Knowledge of Testing/specification of Raw Materials as per BIS/IP/BP/IHS/IPQC/ICH
• Knowledge of Testing of Cosmetics Finished Good Products (Cream, Shampoo, Face Serum, Hair Oil, Face Wash, Lip Balm, Hair Care, Body Care, Baby Care, Men & Women Care etc) as per as per BIS/IP/BP/IHS/IPQC/ICH
• Testing of R&D trial products and accelerated stability and preservative efficacy testing, microbial investigations.
• Preparation all documents (COA (AQL), MSDS, Composition, etc) for product registration in respective market zones (India or Out of India).
• Familiar with cosmetics compliance requirements for D&C Act, CIDESCO,FSSAI, FDA, BIS/AYUS or relevant guidelines
• Document and control data relevant to all cosmetic products like Product Dossier, TT Docket, Product Specification, Stability Calendar, Artwork and technical contents, Testing certificates, Consumer testing protocol, Support for inhouse QC/QA
• Coordinate with internal team members as well as third party/Contract manufacturer companies for product development innovation (Ready basket or NPD development), technology transfer, product QC analysis, consumer insight testing and new product development failure RCA/CAPA.
