HP’s 3D Printing Finance team is seeking for a strong analyst to provide financial guidance and support to the 3D Metals Go-To-Market organization as a partner to the worldwide leadership team.

This analyst position will provide end-to-end P&L management, driving Forecast predictability, and deriving deep insights for leading to P&L decision making. It will also help drive efficiencies, enhancements and automation.

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of strategic and complex business issues such as: New business models, pricing strategy, sales productivity, direct sales development, etc…
  • Day-to-day activities include P&L forecasting, budgeting, participating in deal reviews, participating in margin improvement reviews, overseeing revenue recognition, month-end close management, and ensuring transparent and timely flow of information to Business and Finance decision-makers.
  • Provides complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
  • Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.
  • Forecasts financial results within a broad scope.
  • Leads business initiatives, typically leading analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.
  • Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes.

You will definitely not be bored and will interact with senior leadership on a regular basis to reinforce the partnership and be an influencer of the direction the business is going.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
  • Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions.
  • Previous experience supporting a Services organization preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Superior teamwork skills
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Good project management skills.
