As a part of this team, you will be responsible for supporting and aligning with business initiatives, organization goals, and actions focused on sourcing projects. The Sr. Manager I is a primary steward of our company; you’ll engage with numerous suppliers while working alongside a forward-thinking team in supporting stakeholders throughout Walmart. You will collaborate with your stakeholders in researching, building, and executing supplier strategies.Your Responsibility

• Category Management: Manages a multi-million spend and provides subject matter expertise to drive the development of sourcing and procurement strategy by working with Category team to identify internal business need; aligning sourcing process to the category strategies; developing and compiling request for Information (RFIs) and request for proposal (RFPs); summarize RFI and RFP responses to help the business assess supplier ability to meet business needs; collaborating with cross-functional teams (for example, suppliers, category managers, legal, finance, accounting) to ensure clarification of requirement; providing input based on the end-to-end sourcing process; and presenting information and findings to negotiating teams to drive negotiation strategy development. Manage renewals and maintain renewal data to ensure timely execution. You are an expert on the end-to-end procurement process and has good exposure in IT- Software Procurement (Good not for resale)
• Leading negotiation: Supports supplier negotiations by creating cost models of different contract variables (for example, implementation costs and travel and expense costs); running scenarios to determine business benefits; assessing range of negotiation outcomes; and executing defined negotiation strategies to ensure business needs are met. Interpreting Spend Analysis: ability to read, analyse and tell the story from data and spend to build a TCO model. Exposure in leading e-Auctions & Clean Sheet Costing.
• Team Management: Lead a team of 3-5 member team, manage their training and development needs, manage operations, and lead/ execute 60-75% purchase requisitions for the category.
• Developing supplier relationships: Participates in supplier selection and justification of supplier selection by partnering with stakeholders through conducting a comprehensive analysis of data from multiple sources; developing comparisons of supplier responses to normalize submissions; presenting the conclusions in an easy to understand and actionable manner; and creating quantification and documentation of savings to support business goals. Support in annual business review for suppliers & managing multiple suppliers
• Stakeholder Management: Manages multiple project initiatives for supplier sourcing to achieve desired results by ensuring understanding of scope of work; organizing timelines and deliverables; working with cross-functional teams to ensure timelines related to sourcing and contract goals are met; taking corrective action to address any issues, and reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders. You have experience obtaining Stakeholder alignment
• You are knowledgeable of procurement technology such as Coupa Sourcing (for sourcing) and CLMA (Contracting) along with Ariba and SAP ERP system
• Operating with excellence: Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.
• You have a great eye for detail and experience negotiating contracts with vendors
• Maintain highest levels of confidentiality in all aspects in the entire sourcing process

Your Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate (preferred: B.E. / B.Tech. with MBA)
• 12-16 years of experience in relevant field is required (Preferred: Strategic Sourcing experience for IT-Sourcing (Software)
• Experience in Strategic sourcing process and Subject Matter Expertise in Category Management,
• Detail oriented, organized team player; flexible and proactive individual; easily accepts constructive input.
• Excellent communication and influencing skill with ability to communicate to stakeholders from different continents
• Excellent presentation and MS Office skills
• Open to work US hours
