Job Highlights

Maintaining statement of import consignments bonded at Custom Warehouse.The Expert Import Handling and transport management Singapore is responsible to ensuring a smooth flow of import consignments from receipt of import documents till the consignment is delivered to Plant/Warehouse on day to day basis. Furthermore, he/she ensures error free declarations & duty payments to custom authority to ensure timely clearance. Furthermore the position also supports the error free planning and execution of import/export/domestic transport orders to/from Singapore for LXS Singapore as per customer’s requirements adhering to the rules and regulations of the respective countries. This ensures that the import process runs smoothly and it allows LANXESS’ business to run optimally. It therefore significantly contributes to business success.

Checking import documents thoroughly as per purchase order & give accurate information/instructions to CHA for clearance of import consignments.
Cross checking of Bill of Entry data before applying to Custom Authority, duly availing benefits under licences and/or FTAs & arrange duty payment on time.
TM SGP - Execution of import / export / domestic transport orders for LANXESS Singapore as per internal and external customers requirements. Including Inet entires, coordination with BUs and service providers, document checking and resolution of level-1 escalations.
Maintaining database and storage of documents of all import consignments for daily coordination with internal as well as external stakeholders/analysis purpose. Maintaining data on container detention & warehouse charges incurred for import consignments in system for analysis purpose.
Ensure movement of import consignments as required by Plant/WH.
Ensure timely preparation of E-waybill with data accurancy for movement of import consignments to plant/WH.
Ensure timely updation of import shipments in Transport Management System i. e. INET as well as resolving first level querries.
Preparing & submitting required documents to Custom Authority for obtaining refund of Revenue Deposit & follow up for actual refund.

Requirements

Graduate

3 to 5 years of work experience

Excellent Communication and English speaking skills

Must be willing to work in 6:30 am shift as and when required
