Job Description Summary The Maternal and Infant Care portfolio is an integral part of the GE Healthcare business. Senior Program Manager for Maternal and Infant care function will play a vital role in providing strategic leadership and driving teams which are cross-functional and engineering to accomplish the business goals and objectives.

Senior Program Manager will be have to work with global team and drive clarity by defining and prioritizing the program objectives, critical success factors and deliverables for the team. Additionally, the Senior Program Manager is expected to drive and motivate the team with a sense of urgency to meet program commitments. As part of the Leadership Team, the Program Manager will work with the Business Team and Program Leadership team to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with competitive features.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Program Manager , you will be

  • Leading and driving Global New Product Development (NPI) programs, Incremental release programs and productivity programs
  • Drive effective stakeholder management with open communication across businesses / stakeholders
  • Drive product planning and multi-generational , multi-sites product and platform roadmap execution
  • Work with the various teams and program leadership team to deliver quality products on time, within budget , with competitive features
  • Cross-functional project execution leadership including concept discussion, program execution, clinical and pilot trials and product field delivery
  • Work closely with Product Definition team in order to drive product direction
  • Work closely with customers to solicit product feedback and lead cross-functional teams to drive customer support
  • Demonstrate and execute project goals with satisfying quality, performance, schedule and budget CTQ’s in a global setup
  • Demonstrate engineering knowledge, global program management, and strong business acumen while leveraging experience in full product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with ISO, FDA, CE and other regulatory standards

Quality Specific Goals:

As a Senior Program Manager , you will must be

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals and applicable laws and regulations
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required Drive compliance or closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Control FDRs and NPI program milestones
  • Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives Coaching and mentoring in order to develop the program management pipeline and make a broader impact in the organization
  • Demonstrate experience driving variable cost productivity (VCP) and Inventory Carrying Value (ICV) reduction to enable optimized product margins
  • Strategic planner and thinker with ability to drive change across the segment products
  • Demonstrated experience on global product releases throughout the entire NPI cycle
  • Expertise in LEAN skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree within appropriate Engineering discipline or equivalent or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent (defined as 15 years progressive experience within engineering, science, or related field, including 8 years project leadership experience within manufacturing, development, or research development) PMO leadership experience PMP / PgMP or equivalent certified)
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant industry experience and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in program leadership including managing cross-functional teams
