As a Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the organization’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive engagement. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop content that aligns with the company’s goals and resonates with the target audience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to achieve marketing goals.
- Identify key social media platforms for the organization and create plans for each.
- Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including text, image, and video content.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visually appealing and on-brand content.
- Foster a sense of community and engagement with the audience through active participation in social media conversations.
- Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase brand visibility and reach.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Track, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media channels.
- Provide regular reports on social media performance and recommend improvements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms.
- Integrate new features and technologies into the social media strategy.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a consistent brand voice across all channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and draw insights for strategy improvement.
- Experience with social media management tools.
