Preferred qualification
* Strong programming and distributed systems/processing knowledge.
* Experience building data processing systems at scale.
* Functional programming experience in python or Golang, and SQL
* Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Flink, or other data processing tech.
* Strong understanding of popular database/data warehouse architectures and performance characteristics.
* Understanding of data lake technologies like Parquet, Delta, Hudi, or Hive.
* Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools.
* Exposure implementing supervised and unsupervised machine learning systems at scale.
* Understanding of infrastructure automation like Kubernetes or other CNCF projects.


Desired Skills/Experience :

  • Must be comfortable working in high growth environment - where priorities shift fast
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Sound understanding of object-oriented programming and excellent software design skills
  • Strong understanding of database design and SQL development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex and large-scale problems
  • Knowledge of architecting & building real-time, large scale applications
  • Understanding and experience of AWS Services like SQS, RDS, Elastic search
  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/ IT
  • Drive discussions to create/improve the product, process, and technology
  • Provide end to end solution and design details
  • Lead development of formalized solution methodologies
  • Passion to work in a start-up like an environment
