Software QA Engineer / QA Lead-Manual Testing

Job description

. Understanding of functional requirements and documents provided by the client.

· Estimation of tasks.

· Identifying test scenarios, development of test cases.

· Release based Functional and Regression testing based on test cases written.

· Defect reporting and follow up to close the defects

· Close interaction with the development team and timely closure of defects reported.

· Participation in client meetings and review sessions.

· Ensuring adherence to Quality management, Quality process and standards, documentation

· Participating actively in daily stand up meetings and other review meetings.

· Sending out daily status updates and updating daily time sheets.

· Create Test Plans & Test Cases & execute them

· Defect reporting using any of the defect tracking tools.

· Good communication skills and a team player spirit

· Prior experience of testing of enterprise level software products is a plus

· Knowledge of Automation

· Prior experience and involvement with developer community/development team is a plus.

· Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

· Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

Experience : Min 2 yrs in QA Lead Manual Testing
