Job Description:

Investigating Mechanical ECRs independently determines and develops approaches to solutions for design of Solar turbomachinery products.
Develops solutions to a variety of ECR problems.
Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in ECR Design Review meeting objectives.
Requires full use and application of standard engineering principles, concepts, and techniques of mechanical design, drafting/CADs, with an understanding of established analytical/scientific methods and procedures.
Able to interpret engineering drawings. Knowledgeable in the use and application of engineering analysis techniques.
Familiar with standard gas turbine manufacturing, quality, design, and analysis methods.

Additional Job Details:

Perform technical calculations for the projects Ex. Component sizing and fluid flow calculations / Analysis Understand compressor and process system design from Mechanical standpoint, integrate those systems with Electrical and controls, this includes Lube oil, Fuel Gas and seal gas systems. Knowledge on Gas Turbines and other accessories such as Packaging Systems - Enclosure, Frame Structures Etc.,
Coordinate with other functional team to progress the design intent (Hydro/Electrical/HMI Groups) Good Presentation skill and demonstrate the capability through Design review Meetings Excellent in modelling techniques using Creo parametric 4.0
Good exposure to the use of Product Lifecycle Management tool - Windchill Good Exposure on ASME/API/ISO Knowledge on Pipe/Tube/Hose/Hydraulic Swagelok Fittings and Designs/routings
Good Exposure to reading P&ID drawing Basic Analysis skill on structures.
