Senior Sales Engineer


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the Sales Budget for Compoent Service in West & Central India.

  • Account maintenance of existing customers, upselling, and cross selling opportunities in existing customer of PVD/ PACVD /Thermal spray coating

  • Create new opportunities /prospects for Component coatings in West & central India & generate enquiries for PVD/ PACVD /Thermal spray coating.Understanding customer application requirements

  • Provide pre and post sales, technical support to customers, assist customer in feasibility evaluation and defining appropriate solutions and alternatives to fulfill customer needs.

  • Submit quotations, Price Negotiations

  • Record CRM data, customer visits, quotations, opportunity management, planning numbers

  • Collaboration with CSC for sampling & follow up sampling and testing results. ensure proper information transfer to CSC while sampling & production for successful serial production.

  • Provide and share all information about industries, customers, competitor & economic trends to Management.

  • Communicate related marketing symposiums, exhibitions for components to Management for participation decisions.

  • Continuously act as brand ambassador to promote and ensure company’s branding and interests. Cooperate in all customers promotional events; collaborate in customer meetings, seminars, and exhibition

  • Understanding of Matrix reporting and executing smoothly will Sales and PL functions.


Required Education, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor of Engineering ( Graduate) (Degree in Mechanical / related / Materials Science) (Advanced education in business management / administration will be a plus)

  • 5 – 7 years job experience in Sales & Marketing and/or Application Engineering.

  • Experience in Heat treatment / nitriding / Thermal Spray / Materials / product sales for components) Sales experience and knowledge in Automotive/ Pumps / Valves / General Engineering /Aerospace /Power industries etc. preferred.

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and local language as needed

  • Basic Engineering Knowledge, Materials, Heat tretament, Thermal spraying

  • Flexibility to travel


Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Knowledge General Engineering industry in West India

  • Knowledge of challenges in engineering industries related to tribological aspects is added benefit

  • Excellent Communication skills

  • Creative and open-minded to collaborate with internal and external partners

  • Sales process knowledge

  • CRM experience & basic computer knowledge like MS Office, Powerpoint etc.

  • Knowledge of various surface treatments.

  • Highly motivated and self-driven personality.

  • Team player with good interpersonal, presentation skills
