Project Manager with Strong Technical Knowledge of SCADA and Grid Automation products and systems to manage Customers, Consulting Engineers, Consortium partners for Medium and Large projects from the Start phase, through Engineering FAT and implementation stages till warranty start and handover.

  • Own total responsibility (Targets, Costs, Dates, Quality of Delivery)
  • Guidance and Co-ordination of the nominated Project Team.
  • Responsibility to Customer, Consulting Engineer, Consortium partners from the beginning phase till end of Warranty period.
  • Responsible for uniform, consistent and continuous information to the team and Management
  • Project Documentation.
  • Implement and compliance to EHS at the site establishment.
  • Leadership together with respective team members in Key Technical Discussions with Customers, consultants and other project stakeholders on the Scopes relating to SCADA, and other topics pertaining to Grid Control Scope of Systems and Projects.
  • Participation in negotiation for some Key Third party vendors as per delegation with support as required from Commercial Project Managers and SCM.
  • Selection of the vital tasks for the nomination of the team (together with the line management)
  • Organize Project Meetings internally as per PM Process flow.
  • Perform all steps as per the PM Process,
  • Implementation of the PM tools as applicable for the project.
  • Preparation of vital Documentation and formats as per established PM process.
  • Organize KICK-OFF Meeting with the Customer.
  • Agreement on project targets with Management and project team members.
  • Agreement on measures to achieve the targets together with the team members.
  • Preparation and maintenance of Project Schedule.
  • Preparation of financials together with the commercial PMs and subsequent revisions.
  • Organize regular project review meetings as applicable, both technical as commercial including cost forecasts and highlighting any deviations in the reviews.
  • Periodic reporting as required to the Management.
  • Co-ordination of all aspects of the project work and scopes including services with respective external stakeholders in the project etc.

We are seeking for a Full time BE/B. Tech with minimum 15 to 20 years of experience with Strong Technical Knowledge of SCADA and Grid Automation products. This job is based out of Mumbai.

  • Co-ordination together with SCM for procurement followup and schedule accordingly.
  • Co-ordinate with Customer and Logistics department to obtain dispatch clearance, ensure safe delivery to the site and obtaining confirmation of safe unloading and storage arrangement at site.
  • Co-ordinate for Site works as applicable with the Site supervisor / Site Manager in the installation phase till Commissioning and Handling over.
  • Remain the contact point for the customer through the warranty period, till handing over to Life cycle Management Teams once the warranty period is completed.
  • Assist and Co-ordinate for timely submission of BGs, BG extensions, Invoices and for follow-up till payment is received.
  • Risk Management, and regular review in the established formats.
  • Claim Management, to Customer, as well as from Sub-Supplier together with Purchase / Sourcing.
  • Crisis Management together with team/Line Organisation.
  • Project Closure meetings with project team.
  • Know-how transfer from the project into the organization together with team members and line organization.
