The SCM Engineer will be responsible for managing Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities in the factory to procure the products on time with the right quality and using the right suppliers within Budget

What Needs To Be Done?
  • Manage day to day SCM operations with respect to commodities of Forgings, Castings and Machining components
  • To take care of outsourcing activities of fabrication and machining
  • Will be responsible for Indirect material procurement
  • Evaluation and selection of new suppliers, development of existing suppliers, and overall supplier management to meet Howden consolidation plans
  • Liaison with cross functional teams for effective communication
  • Drives Cost reduction, Quality and on time delivery ( OTD )
  • Improve OTD
  • Optimization of Inventory levels to improve Inventory Turns
  • Drive cost reduction programmes with cross functional teams
  • Develop Indian Suppliers to meet Howden Global requirements
What Do You Need To Bring?
  • B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 5-7 years of experience
  • Preferably from Engineering/Manufacturing Industries
  • Supply Chain Management experience of managing manufacturing plant
  • Interpersonal skills & ability to leading team of people
  • Can deal with adversity, Mature and realistic
  • Goal orientated & Team Player
  • Take charge of the situation and Drive change
  • Excellent Team Player
  • Take charge of the situation
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
