The following Key Elements and Qualifications describe the basic duties and responsibilities of the
position, as well as the skills required, but neither are all-inclusive.
General Purpose of Position
Delivery of Client service including but not limited to Remote technical support, Group Policy
Administration, Virtualization Solutions, Firewalling, Network Troubleshoots, Services Installation and
Database server management. The role requires the individual to demonstrate expediency in service
delivery with least possible lag.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Timely resolution of Technical Support Issues via email/ on call
Administration of Active Directories Solutions like Office 365
Setting up of networks and establishing DNS DHCP servers
Installation of Client VPN and Support


Installation of Application and Software Support
Installation of Local/ Network Printer and Support
Routine Data Backup and Downtime Management
Trouble Shooting of Hardware and Software issues for Desktop, Servers and Network
Infrastructure
Virtualization: Creation of Multiple Instances and their management using Hyper-V,
VMware and Microsoft

Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal skills in English
Ability to work in flexible shifts and solve complex problems
Prior experience working with AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, Linux, Windows server 2008R2,
2012R2, 2016 server, 2019 Server and Windows 7 10
Previous established knowledge of SSL, Domains
LABTECH Connect wise monitoring tool is an asset
At least 2 years work experience with Virtualization Platforms like VMware Hyper-V
Effective team player who can work in a collaborative ever-changing environment

Education and/or Training
Bachelor/ master s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science (Recommended)
Possession of CCNA/CCNP certification will be an asset.
