1 ROLE / JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for self-motivated Engineering Manager, with good ethics and dedication to be a part of a Technology Industrialization team working on strategic ambition to be the world leading solar module manufacturer. This position requires to lead the Industrialization of new Cells technologies, to achieve the required KPIs (cell efficiency, process wastage, capacity, etc) to meet the business case. As part of continuous improvement, this position also require to improve cell efficiency of existing production. Selected candidates work closely with the other department functions to define all the necessary process, equipment configuration and control procedures to meet product functionality, quality and reliability requirements.

2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage a team of professionals to oversee the Cells Technology Industrialization activities in the plant and drive for continuous improvement of cell efficiency.

· Manage Projects Execution including budget, schedule, resource allocation and technology solutions.

· Responsible for cultivating a safe work mindset & culture in the plant. Reduce process safety risks and comply to the safety and environmental regulations.

· Responsible for defining the process control limits, product specifications and equipment requirements to ensure process robustness and product reliability.

· Drive qualification and in-depth data analysis on new process/material improvements for enhancing cell efficiency/module power. Ensure product reliability while new changes are implemented.

· Establish systematic problem solving and critical thinking approach to achieve all tasks using statistical tools.

· Collaborate with equipment vendors and material suppliers to realise synergy in industrialization & continuous improvements. Improve cell efficiency, reduce material consumption & process cycle time to achieve business competitiveness.

· Motivate and lead team of Industrialization engineers in all projects related to Industrialization and continuous improvement using applicable methodology.

· Engage and lead team towards Industry 4.0. focusing on AI, ML and data analytics.

· As an individual contributor, may be accountable for projects/programs as well as developing methods and parameters, project methodology and/or project proposals.

· Coaches, mentor and conduct training for targeted organizations on Engineering and Technology matters.

· Performs other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the organization.

· Responsible for succession plan for Cells Industrialization Team including talent identification and career planning.

3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Technical / Professional:

· Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical / Mechanical / Material / Chemical Engineering

· Minimum 8-10 years working experience leading Process Engineering function in Solar Cells manufacturing, Electronic or Semiconductor Assembly industries.

Technological:

· Knowledge in Semiconductor / Solar cell or module assembly processes and materials

· Strong knowledge and experience in process control & new process development methods

· PECVD, PVD, Diffusion, Wet process and Metallization knowledge is desirable

· PFMEA, DFMEA, DOE, Fish-Bone Analysis, SPC, Problem solving methodology

· Familiar with Industry 4.0 concepts

· Strong technical analysis competency with the use of analytical tools like JMP, Mini-Tab for troubleshooting and data-mining

General:

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead team under pressure

Knowledge:

· Working experience in Solar / Semiconductors / Electronics manufacturing industries is advantageous

7. ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

· Ability to perform software simulations using JMP / MATLAB or other simulation software

· Knowledge of Electrical characterization and physical characterization / Failure Analysis tools for systematic troubleshooting and improvement.

· Knowledge and experience in process and data analytics automation
