About the role

Territory sales Officer/ Manager

Key Responsibilities

1) Achievement of primary & secondary sales targets through direct dealers and distributors.

2) Visit optician and accessories stores with samples to present the range and collect orders.

3) Conduct sales events and road shows in the territory to showcase the range and book orders from customers.

4) Ensuring that customer orders are channelized to the company and are supplied in a timely manner.

5) Collection of payments from distributors and direct dealers. Ensuring there are no over dues from customers in the territory.

6) Suggest plans for liquidation of obsolete stocks with dealers and distributors.

7) Ensure company schemes and brand plans are implemented in the market as per guidelines.

8) Ensuring that distributor claims are submitted to the company in a timely manner and are cleared.

9) Identifying prospective new stores and drive placement of Luxottica brands in such stores.

10) Identifying opportunities for business development in new towns within the territory and expanding distribution in such towns.

11) Attending to customer complaints and ensuring they are resolved immediately.

Important qualities and competencies

1) Candidate should be young, aggressive and high on self-confidence with very good communication skills & highly results oriented.

2) Should be high on integrity and trust, committed to customer satisfaction, open and willing to learn & Willing to travel extensively.

3) Proficiency in English, Hindi and at least one regional language

Location – Kochi

Experience & Qualification

  • 3 to 6 years of experience preferably with FMCG, Consumer Durables, Accessories, Footwear, Apparel, Paint and Tyre industries
  • MBA from a recognized university/ B-School
