Description Key Interface with Global Order Fulfilment organisation Key member of S&OP Process responsible for translating demand into the supply schedule Partnering with world class partners to provide cost efficient, expedient and traceable end to end Logistics, through the Elekta Logistics Control Tower Drive efficient processes around Inbound Planning and placing of POs, MOs and DOs Controls release for Procurement, Manufacture and Sales Managing warehousing and consignment consolidation and shipment Outbound Logistics Controlled Delivery of all Linac Business Line products to customer site through the Control Tower and Global end to end Logistics processes Drive improvement activities across Elekta groups (Solution Areas and Regions) and external partners Align activities and resources with the Business Line and SCM strategy across the global organization. Ensure the OH&L Strategic Agenda is emdedded in New Product Introduction and engineering change. Lead the Order Handling & Logisitcs Strategy and deploy through the global logistics teams across multiple geographies. Identify and Drive improvements in the order delivery process, from initial liason with the Order Fulfillment Team through to the material planning and order scheduling. Management of the Logistic Service Providors (LSP), both operationally and strategically to ensure optimal structuring across global sites. Ensuring all LSP (Transport and Warehousing) have appropriate controls for Business Continuity, Service and Cost Perfromance. Manage and develop the Order Handling & Logistics capabilities (competencies, knowledge, skills and experience) to meet the business needs and long term development of the Elekta organization. To manage all resources, consolidating a global Logistics footprint to ensure optimal efficiciency, cost, leadtime and sustainability across Business Line Linac operations. Align and deliver consistent working practices across the Global Order Handling & Logistics team to support One Elekta. Promote a creative, dynamic, empowered and open work environment, ensuring integration of the Elekta Values throughout the Purchasing function Inspiring & driving a high performing team to achieve and exceed business targets Implement metrics to measure performance and efficiency across all Elekta Logistics sites. To demonstrate achievement of stretched targets in the areas of cost, quality, working capital reduction and delivery performance (OTIF) Maintain and development of Logistics Business systems i.e. ERP, Control Tower., processes and tools to deliver best in class performance Working with the Order Handling & Logistics Managers outline, update and control the expense budgets in line with the stratgegic and tactical direction of Supply Chain Management. Develop and maintain an end to end Logistics infrastructure delivering cost effective solutions (leveraging logistics partners buying power to achieve lowest cost and optimal service levels) Creating an environment of Continuos Improvement (CI) to ensure a high quality service. Working capital optimization through optimal stocking policies and purchasing practices. Authorities To own the Global Order Handling & Logistics Budget for Elekta Take decisions for Elekta Order Handling & Logistics in accordance to the business directives and strategy Sign off of the Elekta Order Handling & Logistics Business Plan. Take commercial, technical and quality decisions for creating respective Supplier Agreements Approve routines/documents for Order Handling & Logistics in accordance with the Business Quality Systems Approve travel, personnel working hours and purchase requests according to budgets and Authorization Policies Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies - Extensive work experience in Supply Chain Management at a senior level covering procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing and Order Fulfilment in an advanced technology/industrial environment with high demands on quality Successful leadership of a Global Logistics organization Master degree (science, business administration, etc.), or equivalent combination of education and work experience Experience in management of large LSP contracts. Experienced in working with and international supply base and internal stakeholders. Experience of business economics Documented Management experience and skills, preferably including cross-location management and team building High standard of interpersonal skills Well developed IT skills Documented experience and track record of successfully managing multiple order projects of capital equipment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required. Fluent in English and preferably other European languages with good multicultural experience and skills Demonstrates high ethical standards, values and sound business judgement Persistent, enduring and prepared to make strong personal commitments
