工作内容

At least 4 years previous experience working on Diesel Generators.
Completed an apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Diesel or Plant Fitting, or have a relevant qualification in one of those courses.
Ideally strong knowledge of diesel generators such as FG Wilson, Caterpillar & Cummins
Able to use own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Familiar with current methods and techniques of repairing and maintaining generators
Comprehensive knowledge of repairing and troubleshooting generator equipment
Skilled in setting up or breaking down of generators
Possess strong computer knowledge and sound customer service skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out fault finding and diagnosis to a range of diesel generator sets.
Resolve electrical and mechanical engine problems.
Supervision skills while replacing electrical and mechanical components.
Carry out basic engine servicing.
Carry out site testing.
Be a part of the on-call rota.
Customer liaison, update and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Adhere to company health & safety standards
Performing scheduled routine maintenance such as observing refueling of generators as well as changing oil and filters
Responsible for providing lists of alternators, spare parts for diesel engines, control panels and required tools and equipment
Perform emergency repairs of generators
Handle responsibilities of monitoring tools, equipment and spare parts inventory
Responsible for ensuring use of spare parts in most effective and productive manner
Performing any other related duties as assigned from time to time
Possess strong MIS/Excel knowledge for daily, monthly and yearly management reporting
