In supporting this journey, the Qlik Platform lead architect is responsible for driving continued growth and success of the Qlik platform beyond its current 50,000 users. This includes defining and driving the roadmap, continuous improvement, best practices, community enablement and innovation activities.

The role requires to lead Qlik Sense platform success, focusing on developing capabilities, solutions, and services required to continuously improve, scale and deliver a great user experience. Also defining Qlik Sense technology direction, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with strategic priorities and in partnership with Technology Strategy and Architecture team.



Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with SMEs and the internal and external Qlik community to collect and maintain measurable best practice standards, provide guidelines on technology use and drive enablement for the Qlik Sense platform for all stakeholders involved (product owners, solution architects, developers, business analysts and consumers)

  • Define and implement technology delivery strategy catering to multiple business areas with an aim of bringing pioneering innovation, process standardization across platforms and systems with high focus on user experience and scalability.

  • Partner with Domain Service Delivery for needs analysis, solution proposal/evaluation, platform and feature advocation and innovation and ensure on time, within budget, compliant, secure, and quality delivery of portfolio

  • Run efficient end-to-end value flow (from development to operations) for platforms, or systems ensuring availability and optimal performance for technology areas of responsibility and create reusable and scalable assets and deploy them across functions and geographies to generate the desired business value and impact

  • Establish governance structure for platform improvement projects, operations, etc. with right stakeholder representation and track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and critical metrics for various stakeholders in TT and business

  • Collaborate with project teams where to provide domain expertise on architecture, use of technology and innovation topics and take Accountability to ensure consistency with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Technical Architecture domains.

  • Responsible for technology integration with other systems, data platforms, inbound and outbound. Also responsible on execution of technical projects, including innovation initiatives.

  • Drive increased acceleration and autonomy to delivery teams through a risk-based and automated approach to onboarding, quality assurance, deployment and platform monitoring

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • University degree in Information Systems or comparable education, experience or equivalent.

  • 8+ years IT experience, 5+ years visual analytics experience, demonstrated ability & experience in solution architecture and/or technical service management.

  • Consistent record in delivery of large and complex digital solutions

  • Good level of technical expertise in delivery and maintenance at scale of visualization and front-end web technologies. Essential: Qlik Sense; Desirable: HTML5, React, Angular; Nice to have: QlikView

  • Experience and working knowledge of data engineering, data (warehouse) architecture, data and API connectivity management

  • Solid understanding on DevSecOps & Agile with experience in technical roadmap definition and delivery

  • Proficient English, both written and spoken.

  • Product management experience
