You will be responsible for the overall management and execution of a diverse set of administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth functioning of facilities, logistics, equipment / kits, match events / schedules, departmental communication, team management and liaising with relevant football regulatory bodies for the First Team of RoundGlass Sports unit. This position reports into Lead Team Operations and will work under the guidance of Technical Director and Head Coach First Team and will need to engage with multiple stakeholders inside and outside of the RoundGlass sports unit to deliver on the priorities and

What youll do:


Management


  • Plan and organise the operational requirements of first team in a manner to improve the internal Player experience level and external brand perception of the Sports unit
  • Planning, monitoring and managing the First Team operations budget which balances Efficiency with Value creation for RG Sports business unit
  • Facilitate to deliver end to end First team Player Engagement process including high levels of documentation organization, accuracy and standards; collaborate to assess and mitigate engagement risks proactively
  • Plan engagements with external stakeholders like sports federation personnel and other agencies to deliver operational plans while enhancing strategic partnerships in the business interest of RoundGlass Sports
  • Plan engagements with internal stakeholders from a diverse multifunctional team of sports technical, sports science & well-being and corporate functions to drive alignment and delivery of First Team operations plan and priorities

Operational


  • Coordinate off-field football activities for the Sports unit team to ensure that players and staff are provided with the highest level of support to enable them to compete and perform at the highest level and to ensure the efficient operations of the Sports club
  • Assist cross functional staff in their duties and collaborate to achieve common objectives of the unit
  • Plan and formulate the Operational Plan for the pre-season and the season for the assigned Sports unit
  • Formulate contracts for players along with legal team and ensure the contracts are executed as per Sports leadership instructions; ensure all deals fall within the allocated budget
  • Ensure SOP briefing and adherence for the appointed support staff to ensure smooth running on game days
  • Negotiate all clearances and player registrations following the league rules with local and regional sports regulatory bodies
  • Organise and provide relevant documentation in consultation with the finance team to ensure all player payments are processed accurately and on time
  • Liaise between players, Coaches, Technical Director and sports federation members
  • Oversee the maintenance and management of all training and match equipment during the season and coordinate submission of team sheets and match reports before and after both home and away games
  • Ensure availability and maintenance of equipment as required by Coaches; ensure all support staff are in attendance and are provided with appropriate equipment to undertake their specific role

Who were looking for:

  • Bachelor degree education along with advanced education in sports management or a related program with at least 10 + years of experience.
  • Significant and demonstrated experience in Sports team management and logistics within a professional sports environment
  • Knowledge of professional leagues and regulations in the domain of sports
  • Proficiency in financial, budgetary and procurement processes
  • Communication skills to cater to a diverse set of internal / external stakeholders
  • Proactive in planning, organising and managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and navigating fast paced changes
  • Collaboration and team development skills
  • Passion to role model and practice the science and art of holistic Wellbeing
