Agile coach / Release train manager

Job content

• Collaborate with the ART team (Product Manager, Product Owner, Scrum masters and Development Team…), on day-to-day product delivery .
• Guide ART team in accordance to SAFe/Scrum practices and values to delight our client
• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem-solving.
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Be a supportive partner for the Product Managers and Scrum masters especially in Epics definition and refining the backlog items.
• Drive relentless improvement by supporting just-in-time improvement throughout the PI, leveraging the Coach and PO syncs.
• Optimize Flow by improving the flow of value, establishing ART flow measures, facilitating value stream mapping, reducing, or eliminating cross-team dependencies.
• Coach the ART including SM/TC, Business Owners, System Architects, and Product Management
• Support PI Execution – Tracking progress, facilitating periodic synchronization events, supporting ART backlog refinement, assisting Business Owners, coordinating planning efforts with other ARTs.
• Facilitate PI Planning – Helping the ART prepare for PI planning, support with effort estimation.
• Identify and remove obstacles and roadblocks that hinder the progress of agile teams, thus ensuring a smooth and workflow.
• Act as a servant leader by coaching and mentoring teams on agile principles, methodologies, and modern technology practices.
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvement and optimization.
• Keep track of industry trends, new technologies and best practices and advocate for their adoption within organizations. (collaborating with new way of working group + others Value Trains within organization)
• Support complex agile release processes and ensure effective coordination and synchronization within the Agile Release Train (incl Jira mastering – Jira know-how, incident management)
