Position Title: AM Facility

Department: Engineering

Reports to: Manager - Engineering

Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 7 - 11 years

Location: Plant, Bawal

Position Summary What is the main purpose of this position Why does it exist (e.g. to administer client database; to create marketing strategies; to provide administrative support to a department, etc.)

To operate, maintain & strengthen all plant building and Utility systems & services in the plant.
Work on mechanical maintenance system of the utility equipments.
Execute Building repair & maintenance.

Principal Accountabilities What are the major responsibilities of this position List the What, How and Why of each responsibility and provide examples, as necessary. Use specific verbs of action, such as files , managers , operates , analyses , etc. Indicate percentage of time spent on each.

Prepare annual maintenance contracts for key utilities systems and Co- ordinate with the vendors for ensuring timely preventive and predictive maintenance.

Ensure GMP & Safe practices in his area.

Ensure proper and timely maintenance of plant building and repairs within cost.

Plant Utilities :

To ensure smooth & un- interrupted utility operations at the most optimum cost. 20

Ensure Operation and timely maintenance of DG Sets, MCC & PCC, HVAC systems, air compressors, RO Plant, pumps, WWTP, etc. 30

Maintain all utility equipments and stand by in ready to use condition 10

Compliances of statutory requirements relating to Power generation & utilities. 10

Manpower planning for smooth running of the shifts 10

Coordinate with SE, Line In charges & other manufacturing people on timely basis for planning the utilizations of utility equipments, any shut downs and resolution of issues related to his area. 10

Co- ordinate with Engg. Stores & Purchase ( commercial ) for timely ordering and arrivals of fuels, consumables , maintenance spares and other supplies for utility & electrical systems. 10

Critical Challenges What are the critical challenges of this position (e.g. foster positive relationships with external vendors, research and resolve complex requests for information in the absence of higher authority, determine all systems, specifications and requirements and ensure that they fall within values, standards and strategies, etc.)

Making optimal utilization of the resources with in the given environment.
Identify, initiate & implement cost improvements projects on Energy Cost.

Competency in the field of Utilities and project.

General awareness of electrical circuit diagrams for utility equipments.
