Role: Android Developer

Experience: 2-6 years

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Android SDK (29+)
  • Experience working with remote data via REST APIS and JSON Data
  • Knowledge working with Kotlin, MVVM, Jetpack, Navigation Controller, Room
  • Experience with third-party libraries like Retrofit, Glide, Gson
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Job Responsibilities:

· Translate UI/UX design into high quality code

· Build reusable and reliable Kotlin code

· Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform

· Develop, test, implement and maintain application in the GIT version control system and adheres to the best practices for code check-in and checkout.

· Work with outside data sources and APIs

· Taking ownership of implementing coding best practices and adhering to industry standard code quality.

· Support Production deployment activities and resolve issue if any during the process

· Fix defects arising from QA testing and Post-production implementation

· Maintain JIRA stories for every requirement and update based on the work completed

· Collaborating with other IT, QA and Production Management teams to ensure smooth end to end delivery.

· Highlighting project delivery risks proactively and offering mitigation options accordingly.
